Description: Come join a team of developers utilizing .NET (C#) and SQL technologies. This is a position in a Physicians’ Practice Management Company located in Asheville, North Carolina. With roots going back 30 years, the current business was established in 2000. The office provides administrative & billing services for a statewide network of physicians and nurse practitioners. We have an immediate opening for a WPF Developer with C#.NET experience to work from our Asheville office.
Requirements:
• Programs: Visual Studio 2010, Microsoft SQL 2008
• Languages: C#, XAML
• Ideally possess 2+ years C#.Net experience with XAML and WPF Technologies
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience in the field
Work Environment:
The office operates in an informal professional environment. Each staff member is responsible for achieving his/her duties with minimal supervision. Work hours are flexible but candidate must be able to maintain a 40 hour/week full-time schedule. Staff are expected to be present on a daily basis. The office is physically open every weekday except Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Compensation:
Full time in the range of $35,000+/year depending on experience. Additional $200/month paid toward health insurance. 80 hours accrued time off per year and two paid holidays.
Responsibilities:
• Knowledge of database design and analysis
• Understanding of software development life cycle
• Develop Web-Based and Windows Form applications using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010
• Create/update system documentation for new or existing systems
• Self Develop skills and understanding of the business environment which code supports
• Ability to investigate and evaluate new technical tools and methods to support and improve the technology team
• Strong ability to communicate with users as needed with both verbal and written skills
• Contribute to a small team of internal programmers and outside developers
